A whole lot of people are so hung on the Indian name.
Name has been bought and sold more then Dave63's least favored Asian midget hooker.
No heritage behind it. It's only a name.

But betting it is at least part of the reason Polaris kept it and not their own brand.

The Indian engines seem solid, but the styling is still ugly IMO. Not everyone likes those big goofy fenders and fringe. The Scout should have had the big engine on a lightweight bike, sort of like a Dyna.
