Saw it on FB this morning and went to the Polaris website to make sure it was real.

I hate to see this happen to Company and people losing jobs but maybe they put more resources into Indian. I always thought they were so ugly I wouldn't ride one if it was given to me.

I always thought it was a bit short sighted of Polaris to own one ugly motorcycle company and one fake motorcycle company both of which were in direct competition with one another! What the hell did they think was gonna happen??? Now watch, the 2018 "indians" will probably look a lot like re-badged Victory's.

Ya lots of folks thought they were ugly but give them credit for having there own styling instead of stealing it from Harley like so many metrics have.

To me, they were just butt ugly and weird looking. All of them. I've posted before that I live very near Ohio Bike Week, and attend almost every day each year. In the last 8 years I can count on my hands the number of Victory motorcycles at Bike Week. And that's in a group on 15-20,000 motorcycles. The HD dealer is always swamped during bike week, while the local Polaris/Victory dealer less than a mile away looked like a ghost town.
