This looks like a good idea

Saw this ad on Fakebook, looks like a good idea for us without a security system. Anyone have any experience with these?

No audible alarm and a couple of guys can just lift up the front wheel on a pipe and roll it onto a trailer. I thought this looked good both for the audible and because you would have to lift up the heavier ass end if you put it on the rear disc.

I am just holding out for a compact version of the Trunk Monkey to go in my saddle bags.

The fork lock can be snapped/broken by a reasonably strong thief.
Using the handlebars as leverage.

Or as said. 3, 4 guys just pick up the bike.

People are why I love my Dog and my Harley.

I ride an Ultra. Will take 3 or 4 big boys to pick it up! I always lock my bars. Especially when at work.

This is why we have insurance, that and if two three or four guys have the balls to pick up the bike and put into a trailer I doubt an alarm will deter them.

I have one. I use it as a backup to my fork lock when on road trips. If you can pull up to a motel room it will alarm you that someone is messing with your bike. If you have to park in a multilevel parking lot the sound really carries, it is pretty loud. It would deter the casual thief.
They could still pick up your bike and put it in a van but it would be miserable driving down the road with it going off in your ear.
naknekpete and slingshot383 like this.
