New Windsplitter does not fit my 2012 FLHTK

Don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but I got a new 10" windsplitter and when I tried to install I discovered the holes did not line up with the inner fairing bosses. When I called my HD dealer parts department they told me they would not have another windsplitter in until last of June. I don't know if I am they only lucky one this has happened too or if windsplitter is having major quality control issues?
Since i did not want to wait until last of June for new windshield I fixed the problem and installed windshield, it looks great on scoot and now when I ride I can see over windshield at about 50 feet in front of bike.
If anyone is interested in what I did to get windshield to fit, let me know and I will post.

Should have got one of my custom w/s, guarantee fit plus- the baddest looking w/s. PM me if you want to take a look.

Whatcha got Panhead? I need something a little shorter for my 2012 TK. Any suggestions?

I have 9inch Ultra on FLHTK and 10inch Elite on Trike from LRS. Have had no issues with either of them...
