Here we go again, yesterday I turn into a lane when a metric bike was approaching. He changed lanes as if to pass me, but I sped up to when got beside me we were going same speed, (around 50mph), I turned to nod a "wus up?), no response. Approaching a light turning yellow I slowed to stop, he raced thru a red light, I think to avoid interraction. Funny, cause I caught up to him at next light and rolled behind him, basically just to let him know he's an idiot for running a red light, but without words. :] Sorry metric boy, get a real bike!

Around here we wave at anyone/anything on motorized two wheels. Even the scooters, but a lot of them just sort of look back confused!

Wave to cages?
Your left hand must never touch the bars.

The wave

I usually don't wave at the cagers unless there is a nice looking female inside. I have had to drop the index finger while waving when the boyfriend/husband gets frantic. lol.

Re: The wave. I dont know you!!

I wave. Its a common courtesy and I think of it as a show of camaraderie to a fellow enthusiast. But then again, I'm skilled enough that I can remove one hand from the bars for 2 seconds, and I'm not a jerk.

Knees in the breeze
