GREAT IDEA: Forum Members UNITE!
I'm sure many of you are members of "other" forums, as am I. At this point, I'm a member of 8 that I can think of off the top of my head. They're boat related, mostly classic vehicle related and a couple motorcycle related forums. Of all the above, I've spent more time here than all the others put together, many, many, many times over.
Anyway, I came across an idea on another forum that I thought was extremely cool and just thought I'd throw it out there and see what y'all think. Pump it up, shoot it down - it matters not to me. It would require a bit of work, which is the only drawback.
What we would do is pick an item, like the Deutschland License Plate in Dave's garage, and treat it like the Olympic Torch. We could subdivide the US into teams and, basically, beginning with Dave (only using as an example - could be anything and anyone), relay the LP to someone nearby (or far). That person would meet the next person wherever, and hand it off. And so on and so on, until the LP made it back to Dave. Pictures would be taken of the LP along the way as proof, etc.
This would be a cool way to meet other members, etc. The relay I read about used a plastic Godzilla toy as the "torch." It was damn cool. I think it would be extremely cool.
What say y'all dogs?

MB, that made me think of some ideas I was actually battin' around earlier. Thought of designing a cool forum flag that everyone could sign and give to the "Forum Member of the Year."
OR
We could vote on a bike of the month every month. At the end of the year, we vote on the bike of the year from those twelve bikes. Then the flag would go to that bike of the year owner.
So, a few good ideas rolled into one.

Great idea except that license plate is spoken for. Lmao.
I have seen this done with a hot wheels car and a gnome statue.
