Getting a SC Motorcycle License

Question for my low country brothers out there. I'm licensed to operate a motorcycle here in the Commonwealth of VA but I'm getting ready to move to South Carolina (need a little change in latitude). Does anyone know if I will have to take the skills test at the DMV or does SC accept my VA class M rating?

Thanks y'all.

I appreciate the link. I found that but I still don't see anything regarding acceptance or non acceptance of other state's class M rating.

It may be different for me because I'm military, but I did't have to do anything going from Ohio to charleston.

I moved from Charleston to Baltimore and then back to Gods country (Charleston). And my license transferred both ways.

Liscenses generally transfer from state to state, do be sure they get your endorsement when you do though. Wonderful Missouri didn't transfer any of my endorsements from my Virginia military license and I didn't catch it till that nice officer at the DWI check point informed me.

I had to do ALL the testing for each endorsement..... Damn DMV... ::

The rating should be accepted state to state.
