I have to resist all temptation and do nothing. I know that despite what I tell myself that I am a short-timer with the Heritage and will end up on a touring frame before too long. So, at this point I need to just ride it because anything else I spend is money not going toward the next bike.
Although, I do have to pull the cam cover at the next oil change and check on the cam tensioners. If it so happens that they need attention, all bets are off. The bike will be just north of 20K by then, so hopefully all will be well.
I try to ride as much as I can even in the winter. It saves me $5 every time I ride the bike! So, I still probably commute 2 days out of every five. I wouldn't want to take it down all winter.
