I am with everyone else. Return it. Take the seat and a pair of ruined jeans to the dealer and see what happens.

Other than that, chalk it up to a learning experience, and dedicate those jeans that are already ruined as riding jeans.

Mines leather. Harley is telling me that I'll have to bring the bike up there so they can take pictures and submit it for a warranty issue. I say crap. I spent good money for that uncomftorable seat and its ruined my jeans damnit! Lol I have not had the best luck with my dealer and have no faith in them to help me.

Submit an incident at the moco before you go in. You can use it as a referral number on your ticket. Might carry some weight. This allows them to log it, so if others from the same lot are having a problem, they can correct the issue for everyone. You should never have to do this if your dealership is responsible.
