Seat ruining clothes

So my Harley solo spring seat is ruining my jeans. It's leaving black stains on everything, and I spend good money in jeans. I know it's the black dye in the leather, I just don't know how to get the extra dye off of the seat other than sitting in the damn thing and getting it off with my ass over time lol. I need some ideas here, you think just scrubbing it with soapy water will work?

Man I have no idea what that is all about.

Sometimes, when I do really crazy stuff on my bike, being in the seat of my motorcycle causes stains too.

OOOOOOOOOPSIE! ! ! ! !

Never heard of that happening. Return the seat to Harley and get another one. Sounds like a bad dye job.

Wear black jeans. Seriously never heard that. I agree probably a bad dye job, I would also take it back for replacement....

Have them throw in some motorclothes to cover the jeans you ruined!

Harley seats aren't leather, they're vinyl.

No dye to be coming off the seat, what are you putting on the seat?

it shouldnt come out if it was set right.. i would call and see if i could get a replacement.. if not.. here is what you do ..

you can set the dye in your seat by spraying it with vinegar and water and let it soak in and completely dry... and that should do it.. or salt water should work too but i think the vinegar is the best to use
