Dreaded day is close

Have not been looking forward to this day but its almost time to park it for the winter. Have mixed feelings about it, ever since I picked it up on memorial day weekend I been planning to paint it. Just have too much damn fun riding it to park it, but its getting cold quick and roads usually aren't the greatest here in Indiana during the winter months.: Don't have a final decision on colors or design yet either...: probably just do what I always do and get it apart and ready then just go with what hits me when the time comes. But I have decided that whatever the outcome it'll be a bit on classy side. :beer:

Its not over till the fat lady salts.... but thats getting close here too. I think that bike needs a good Jack Daniels' theme, leaving it black..good lookin bike. Just my .02

Majority will still be black but it has some rock chips and whatnot that the previous owner did a poor job touching up that doesn't sit well with me. Leaning towards a black cherry or variation of and maybe a root beer. Few other colors rattling around in my head still.

Chase few shots with the beer and it will eventually and automatically come to you what you need to do. That combo is magic in making major decisions.

Seen RootBeer at the Dealership, like Chief's RK, its stunning in the sun.

Vivid black and chrome is tough to beat.

Two-tone ivory and burgundy would be classic with the white walls.

My rootbeer is staying on the road this winter. I'm not putting her away. She'll nap a couple times when we get snow, but I'm hoping for at least a couple days/month. Praying is more like it. Last winter was awesome...for here anyway.

Yeah last winter we got maybe a whole inch of snow total but at the slightest threat they had the roads salted. I'm all for being prepared but it got a tad ridiculous. It'd be nice to get it down painted and back up by Christmas and new years tho. So I don't have to break tradition.
