Hey Coot that is amazing... I had two ninjas ...one was a 1987 1000R it was a beast @ 850 lbs n the handling was ok ... My 2nd one was a 1992 Zx11 boy let me tell u the handling was incredible n @1100 cc it could do 1/4 mile in 10 sec.with a speed @ 127mp. I kept it for 10 yrs then passed it to my cousin who still has it . I'll take it out once in a while just for the kicks.. But the speed is not their for me any more.. I love just to cruise in my king...
How fast time passes by.. But it was good memories...

Only got rid of my 2007 Ninja ZX14 about six months ago. That thing would rip your arms from the sockets all the way to hitting the speed limiter at 300kph. Absolute weapon. Had a little work done to it while I had it and it had 190ish HP at the rear wheel. The new engine goes way harder again, why you need it I don;t know, I never rode it to it's potential though I tried at times.
Got rid of it because it was time to slow down and smell the cow shit on a ride as opposed to everything being a constant blur.

As the biker club said, 'commie pinko fag bikes to the rear'.
So we rode at the rear lol.
Sure miss my 77 KZ1000 though.
But its Sportster time now.

I still have a 1981 CB750C sitting in my garage. Great bikes, lots of fun. I'm in the middle of converting it to a cafe so it's in pieces though.

I remember the original back in the 80s - had to read the bike magazines 'cause the store owner wouldn't let us look at the girly stuff - lusted for that bike like nobody's business....

I agree, but in actuality it really isn't too amazing...
6000rpm on my sporty in first is around 40-45
So, double the rpm or about 14k and there is your 100 miles an hour....
