That pic of the shovel head is wrong. The early shovel heads had the pan lower with the new shovel heads. They were made from 66 to 69. In 70 they put the shovel heads on the nosecone lower. Just saying.

That pic of the shovelhead is correct. The thread title is "heads" not "bottom ends". They just skipped the Genny case shovel. Just like they'd skip the 1st gen Evo from 84 to 91 and show the 92-99 model. Subtle changes although different. Just like the shovel. I agree though in the 66-69 Genny case was a banner series. The shortest Harley engine run ever.
