If you live in a larger metropolitan area, you may be MANY miles from a station that sells anything but E10. It is federal mandate.

There is no station with 50 miles of my house that sells it.

My mechanic said that if I was going to use the gas up within 3 weeks not to worry about it. If it was going to be in the tank any longer go with pure gas. A nearby chain of convenience stores here has non-ethanol premium.

Ethanol free gas for me, in "The Horse Backstreet Choppers" magazine they've been testing ethanol based gas for the last couple of issues and nothing good showed up in their test for motorcycles or other small engines.

Almost all I run is non-ethanol. I get about 8.5% better mileage than I do when I have to run ethanol.

If you have an iPhone there is an app called pure gas that will find ethanol free gas near you.

I get my E free fuel from Freds Marina... North of Portland Orygun.

Been using non ethanol gas in my 06 FXDI for two months, I like it. The octane rating is only 89 but it runs good. Biggest difference I notice compared to e10 is it runs cooler. That alone makes it worth the extra coin, to me.

Try finding the place that sells racing fuels, United Oils here in Boise carries at least 3 different levels of octane and no alcohol. I mix the 110 leaded with the 87 unleaded without alcohol, one gallon racing fuel to every four of the cheap stuff. This gives me a 93 octane without alcohol. Works great for the work and shopping etc., on the road, it is Chevron and it's highest octane sold whenever possible.
A tank of the 110 does make a noticeable power level increase, but at $8 a gal, too expensive for me! I think it makes the higher compression in my bike with it's stage IV state.
