So as I wait for my manual to arrive Ive been fixing the small things I know about but have now run into a small problem. My starter shaft is actually broken right in half and needs to obviously be replaced. (How it started 4 or 5 times when i was looking to buy it is beyond me
) The problem is I have to remove the clutch basket in order to remove the starter assembly. Any tips on how to make this a bit easier? I pulled off the cover and the springs are out but Im confused as to how the main bolt should be removed safely and not damage more parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
