100.00 bucks for an apraisel ?????
Need to get my scooter appraised for the insurance company,,,,, local bike shop wants 100 bucks to do it,,,,, is that for real? Dunno what the hourly rate is there but come on it won't take an hour to do it !!!! Is this about the norm or what ????

I imagine thats about right for Kali.
Around here, if they know you're gonna have them do the repairs, they waive the appraisal fee.

make sure you have all the upgrade reciepts with you. that may help you negociate the cost down a bit.

Its probably needing and appraisal due to damage or a crash. I would assume?

I had to pay $140.00 at my local... 2hours labor. Shop wanted me to pay,then collect from my insurance. My insurance said no,they pay. Bike was damaged in a parking lot. Another shop get $200.00 for 2 hours labor. Both Harley dealerships.

Grouser I would take it to a Harley dealership and get a written trade in value form done on it for free and give the insurance company that.....no way i would pay that...and it will work too, i have done it....

great advice,,, called the local HD dealer and they said give me 15 minutes and 20 bucks and we'll take care of it,,,, sweet !!!
