They probably like the warmth as well as the great hiding places the bike provides. Be careful as they do have a liking to wire insulation. Also, not only will they turd up your bike, they are also incontenent and will piss all over it. I recommend a good cleaning as you do not want the deseases that these varmits carry.

Yep, mice are definitely prolific pi$$ers. Be careful that they haven't set up housekeeping inside ouf your seat. Getting bit on the a$$ or worse at high speed can be a bit unnerving at best.

Jinx roams the turf around our house and garage like a sentinel. No critters are safe, including mice, birds, small rabbits, snakes, squirrels and the neighbor's wiener dog. He sometimes sits on my bike, daring one of those little bastards to encroach.

No, but the thought did occur to me as I have seen the incredible places mice can find to make a home. I have seen them somehow build nests inside of car seats, and I have in fact seen hysterical women standing outside of a car as several mice they disurbed decided to see who had disturbed them in their peaceful little home. Never could figure out how they managed that without being detected. When I had a problem with my clothes dryer last year, we discovered the dryer vent hose had hundreds of acorns stored inside as well as a really neat lint house and a ton of mouse crap.

Well I've never been bitten, but once when driving a service truck that had been out of use for awhile I was running down the highway when I kicked on the blower for the heater and two of the little bastages flew out of the vent into my lap.
That can cause you to swerve without being bit.

I remember getting one of my bikes out of winter storage one year only to find the exhaust full of sunflower seeds....the wife feeds them to the birds during harsh winters and the mice must of been picking up what the birds dropped.....I stuff rags into the exhaust ends before I put them away now.

Keep your air cleaner inlet and you muffle outlets plugged or they will become the home for the whole bunch of them.
