Anybody use an iPhone for GPS?
Sorry if this has been discussed, I did a search and really couldn't find anything. Can it withstand the vibrations of a road king? I thought about a GPS unit but the motorcycle ones are so freaking expensive. Now that google maps is back the iPhone has a great GPS.

I do, but very loosely. I keep the phone in my windshield bag and memorized 3 or 4 steps at a time.

I did find a guy that makes a handle bar mount. I do have that boom case with the magnet and I was testing it when I unfortunately dropped my bike and it did stay. Had no issues with the phone though?

I look up the route on my iPhone then write the turns on my windshield with a dry erase marker I keep for that purpose.

I use the TomTom app for the iPhone. If you have a Bluetooth headset it will give you turn by turn instructions. App costs $39 and works well.

Same here. Except I store mine in my crotch set to vibrate, of course.

IN your crotch implies that you have a pocket IN your crotch. Where I come from that's called a vagin.......well you get it.

Million pardons. I store it in my crotchular region. It's not literally IN my crotch. Although, that would be epic.
