2013 Honda CB1100

I'm pretty excited that Honda is bringing it here, but I can't decide if people will actually buy it or not. What does your gut tell you?

Sorry, I don't see anything exciting about that. If I wanted a retro style bike I'd buy a Road King. Oh yeah, I have one.

Looks kinda like a jumbo 1970's CB750F

I think it's cool. Why not 10K? A new 1200 sportster costs more than that.

Haven't seen it yet. I do kinda like the new, sportier GoldWang model that came out.
Too bad it doesn't have ABS. That would be a deal killer.

As a rule I never slam someone else's bike... if its not a Harley, for me it will always belong to someone else.

That Honda is jumping on the "Retro" bandwagon, like Kawasaki did, with the W650 and W800, and their Eddy Lawson's KZ1000R Green Machine race retro bike.

Outside that....it appears to be a grasp for sales and an appeal to a small niche market.

Honda hasn't built an original bike since the RC51...unless you consider that Valkyrie abortion a serious effort... Rather see a Series II than a ' retro ' anything...

Agree 100%. The 600RR and 1000RR are some of the longest running models, with small yearly changes. But no real out-of-the-box models since their inception, or that of the RC51. The Honda Fury has been their only real "new" model that's never been seen before, that I'm aware of, and that was to attract the Harley crowd and chopper riding wanna-be's.

The Valkyrie was a cool bike, in a Hunter S. Thompson, acid trip sort of way. Outside of that, it looked like something HotWheels designed. Like the Edsel of the modern bike world, per say.
