new pics of my ironhead, with 5.5 inch risers, and 9 inch Z-bars
will look alot better this winter when I relocate the electricals, hide the switches, move the speedo, and do away with the front brake. I really don't care for the idea of not running a front brake when all I have is a mechanical drum rear, but that big ass front brake line is uglier than hell, and the chatter of the floating caliper in the front drives me insane
anyway, on with the pics

Do you have any issues going from your sporty to your twin? I've ridden a buddy of mine's 67' (I think) had right side shifting....shoulda bought it from him, he hated it....sold it cheap, and bought a Flathead (?)....then sold that one about 3 years later, after dumping a ton of cash into ceramic coating alot of the engine parts...etc...
Edit: Flathead....not Blockhead

not really. When I first got the FB, I rode it about 2 weeks straight before getting back on the sporty. I took off out of town on the sporty that day, like always, no problems, coming back towards home, I throttled up to 100mph, then let off the throttle and went to brake to slow down a bit, and braked with the wrong foot, threw it into 3rd....Damn, thought I was gonna go over the bars. but since then, no probs, i don't even think about it, get on the FB, shift with left foot, jump on sporty, shift with right, just like second nature. yeah, you shoulda bought it....and given it to me for Christmas

actually BaBs, come winter when she gets her hard tail unit, there will no longer be a chainguard at all. Question for you tho.....where can I find a two way switch for my high/low beams? the one on the bike now is integrated into the switch housing that also has the start button. well, the start button will be replaced and mounted under the tank above the coil. I want all the wiring off the bars, but I think if I can find the right switch, i can mount it right above the trees between the risers, possibly even in the eyebrow where the stock dummy lights would have been, except I think i am going to loose the eyebrow and go with a different light.
any suggestions or ideas are welcome
