Thanks for the responses. I just ordered a nice oil pressure gauge, I have fresh 20w50 in there now, I'll switch up to 60w next oil change, it'll be interesting to note the differences.

You won't notice any changes other then slightly higher oil psi when cold, and a tad cooler running engine. The oil psi will drop to where it always is once the 60wt heats up and thins out.

I believe my Evo runs about 1-2 lbs higher at highway speeds with the 60wt, over 20w50, at full temps.

That oil gauge will drive you insane i take em all off my bikes.

On a Pan or a Shovel, they're worthless, as warm oil psi is only 2-3 lbs anyway.

I watch mine until it's at the line I marked on it, which is full oil temperature psi. After that......... nadda.
