well i'm off to the track today for points race #7. i've been in 1st or 2nd since the season started and am now tied for 1st with 2 others one of them being my teammate on another vrod. FarmingtonDragway.net - DragBike Trophy

there was some controversy at the last race, stating that the "vrods were sand bagging" so today will be a big day, they will be gunning for the harleys, hopeing to knock them off the thrown

well it wasn't the best day for racing or for the harleys. after a few rain delays we got to race. so going into round 2 the weather had changed drasticly. on baord weather station and dial-in computer said we should pick up about .050 since last run.

now i've been using this system for over 10 years and its never been wrong. BUT for some reason i just didn't believe it!

boy was i wrong, i cost myself the round by running .047 of a second to fast, i got out of the gas before the finishline because i had the fellow beat. he was .16 over his dial in and we were almost even on the tree. gene my team mate went red AGAIN!

i'll have to wait til wed. for the points to be posted. this is half season #7 out of 14.

next race june 20th. i better eat my wheaties if i plan on staying in this game

well i didn't win the race but i did come away the points leader and got out of there before 11pm! damn it was hot. track temp was 131 and it was 92 by the weather station.
