Star Tron, Sta-bil, Sea Foam

Was in NAPA today just about to buy Sea Foam and the buy told me that most motorcycle guys that come in want the Sta-bil for Ethanol gas (apparently this is a new formula) as the Ethanol gas tends to separate. The SeaFoam, he said, isn't really designed for storage, but is more of a cleaner/conditioner.

Any way, I went ahead and bought the Sta-bil....... Is this a good choice..........

For storage, Yes.

After you put in the Stabil,

make sure to run the bike for a few minutes or go for a ride then top it back up to the cap for storage to eliminate the chance rust inside your tank.

Judging by previous threads and posts I thought Seafoam was the end all be all. It even cures cancer according to some.

Sea Foam is also a stabilizer. Their claim is that it stabilizes fuel up to two years.

FYI. I emailed the people at Stabil last year about the new ethanol formula and the told me the NLV difference between the regular red Stabil and the blue ethanol-marine Stabil is color, and the ethanol-marine formula is 4 x the strength of the red one. Same stuff only 4x the strength. Said either was safe to use in any gasoline engine.

I've been using the normal red Stabil for longer than I can remember with no issues. With the advent of E-10 I've been doubling the dosage in everything I use it in with no issues.
