Other than that very few people on this forum would know each other if they walked by or in the same shop.

Frankly I believe people in general would be much more polite if it was a known fact EVERYONE was packing heat.

Ok I'm looking at buying a Glock 22.40 that was a state police turn in. What does anyone think of the gun and how many carry when riding? I like the Glock because you can get a 22 conversion kit for it to use for cheaper practicing.

Contrary to what you will hear from some, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Glocks. I like them. They are durable, dependable and best of all inexpensive. No reason to pay steel frame gun prices for a polymer frame gun. Lots of accessories to be had for them now.

I had ( ) a Glock 19. I carry all the time, unless I KNOW I am going on base. 80% of the time I OC, only occasionally CC. The compact frames are nice because they are light weight and if you conceal, they don't protrude as bad.

The .40 is a good round, if you can find ammo for it right now. Might check with DHS, I heard they have some.

I carry this a fair bit when I need concealment for tighter fitting lighter clothes, or when I'm riding.



I carry this most of the time.

Have owned 2 Blocks for about 15 years now. The 23(40) and the 21 (45). Not one jam stovepipe or anything. They are one of the most reliable pistols made. I was very against buying a polymer frame gun until I got the 23. A week later got the 21. A lot of good subs out there though.Ruger, Keltec etc.
