Who Carries When Riding/What Do You Carry?
There's been some discussion about CCW while riding, so let's see who carries and what they carry.
I've just applied for CCW permit but have a Ruger GP 100 .38Spl/.357 Mag revolver and recently bought a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380. It's the Bodyguard I'll carry if the permit comes through
In summer, will go on shooting side ankle
In cooler times, under vest cross-draw
Also have a large pepper spray can velcroed to my dash.
Just don't like to be anywhere unarmed......

I've carried a 4" Colt Python .357, and a 5" 1911.

Mostly carry a Ruger P345 on the hip and sometimes pack the 1911 in a shoulder rig. For some reason the 1911 doesn't feel right in a pancake holster on the hip. Rarely anymore, but do carry a Glock 9mm Mod17.

If I carry while riding I carry the light, small, compact Keltec 380...
for something a little bigger for a 9mm or something..

Usually carry a Ruger LCP .380 in a in-the-waistband holster. All else being equal I would rather carry something with a little more knock down power, but the LCP is so small, light, and easy to carry I usually have it with me instead of it being at home. Bought a 4" barrel 1911 to carry but can't find a comfortable place/holster to carry it concealed so usually left the house wihout it. I figure a .380 in hand is better than a .45 at home.

Depends on where I'm going. LCP 380 on the ankle, 4" barrel 1911 in 38 Super, or a 1911 4", 45acp. Lots of different holsters to chose from.
