When traveling through a different province or state the road signs don't always have the same meaning as in your home province or state. In Alberta a bump sign means large trucks and other vehicles will feel the effect . . . while driving through Newfoundland I assumed their bump signs meant the same and failed to slow down . . . only to go completely airborne. It happened so fast it was over before I had time to panic. So take your time to feel out roadways and how their signs match up with the conditions especially as we all venture away from home during the motorcycle season into parts unknown.

just finished the basic riding course here in utah. even though i've ridden for nearly 25 years.
still took alot away from this course! found out all my bad habits, and learned how to fix them. i think everybody should take one !
regardless of what we think we know.

Took mine here on Fort Campbell. It's required if you want to ride your sled on post. Learned alot from it. The 2 instructors were active members of Rolling Thunder. As a matter of fact, one of them is a Chapter President here in Middle Tennessee.
