Agreed! Everything is a popularity contest these days and its BS. Our POS Government needs to grow a set and become the power we once were.

Here's an idea: send a secret operations force into North Korea to get those two women he put in jail out of that hell hole. Have those women run around the U.S. talking about how crappy the jails are there and how they are no different than a concentration camp so that people stop bitching about how apparently horrible our jails are here (incl. Gitmo). Then use the money saved from not investing in criminals who most of the time become repeat offenders (and apparently that is societies fault, too) and invest in things like education, roads, and proper healthcare reform that embraces capitalistic competition and the innovation that comes from it (i.e, fix the system and regulate, don’t nationalize it… doesn’t work in any country except those that were founded with it). And then, since we have a special operations force secretly in North Korea, send those guys over to Mr. Pot Belly to kidnap him. We'll strap him to one of his fancy missiles he’s got now and point it in the direction of Iran's idiot, election robbing dictator. Take two birds out with one stone and call it a night. I bet nobody would give a crap, not even China... which has lead poisoning anyway.

Didn't work, saw documentaries about Saddam's torture camps...all but forgotten when people saw Al Gharib...which pales in comparison. Dudes were gettin hoses shoved up their asses in Iraqi prisons by the guards, but our troops makin some war criminal (probably an ex prison guard) stand naked while a dog barks at him is much more horrendous.

Other countries' people can cut the heads off of civil servants and nobody gets in an uproar (and we still get blamed for it), but if we make some dudes get embarrassed, there's hell to pay.

Our media works for the enemy, if potbellied Korean wants to launch something, he could start with Hollywood, and the NY Times...maybe then we could retailliate without our own f**king citizengs trying to guilt trip us.
