Tire Cleaners

Can Anybody Tell Me Why You Cant Use That Foam Tire Cleaner On Bikes? I Picked Up A Can Today And It Said Not For Cycles ,Frank

Because the stuff is slick as hell,car tires are flat so if you get a little on them no big deal, but bikes are rounded and if you get it on the tread well guess the rest.

If you MUST have shiney tires, use a spray, place it on a rag and keep it off the tread.

Ahhhh....use Westley's Bleach white, whitewall cleaner. Cheap and works well.

I use the meguires gell stuff I use on my car just really careful and it keep the mud stuff like that off, just gotta be careful where you put it on the tire
