Wind deflector #58125-90B

I recently purchased chrome (what else is there) wind deflectors made by Harley for my 96 Heritage Classic. The deflectors fit fine, but how do you get the detachable windshield back on (the deflectors are in the way) after installing these deflectors. Have any of you guys on the forum experienced this trouble?
