Just Wanted To Saying Hello
I'm new to the forums and want to introduce myself. I'm from New York and currently own 2 HD bikes. My first a 2007 sportster 1200XLC (my first bike) and my newest (about a month now) a 2007 Streetglide FLHX. I joined this forum to gather some info on other bikes and to get some help with mine. I just bought a streetglide used all done up in chrome and with some engine work done. What was a 96ci is now a 103ci with 103+ heads, pistons, SE intake and 264 cams. I love the power and take off. Dyno at 110hp and 113ft/tq. I still love my sporty and am looking to do some upgrading in performance, I figure why the hell not. I've always done all my own maintenance and upgrades on my bike since I'm a mechanic. The problem is I don't do much as far as rebuilding or tearing down engines. It's really not necessary at my job. I know the basic mechanics of an internal combustion engine, just not real knowledgeable on building up a Harley motor. I figured I would stick with Screaming Eagle parts and have already started purchasing some. I figured it would be a little simpler. Also I have a tear down manual, so now I just need to get everything together and do it. So with all that if anybody can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I have a couple posts in the sportster forum if your interested. Great forums by the way!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes
