Welcome! Look forward to seeing what bike you end up with. Please keep in mind the Sportys have some zip to them and can be a bit higher than other bikes, so it is a bit misleading to consider it a starter bike. Dynas and Soft Tails can sit a bit lower if you are short like some of us. Either way, I am certain you will ride with that Harley grin for years to come!

Welcome from Greenbrier, I hope you like your sportster, they are great bikes in my opinion. There is one weak item on a sportster, most have problems with the spring plate in the middle of the clutch plate. It tends to come apart around 20k miles due to the brass rivets, do a search to find about the problems with the clutch.

Not really a Harley guy, I like anything with two wheels and a motor.
