First bike, first Harley, first time trying to navigate everything associated with joining this elite community!
I have wanted a Harley ever since I watched my cousins turning wrenches on theirs back in the early '70s when 'add-ons' meant tape and extra fasteners. Since their bikes were black, that is the color that sticks in my mind the most. They rode with a 1% group that is prevalent through PA, MD and NJ (you people in the know can likely figure out whom I am referring to) and the ironic thing is that my Father was in law enforcement and actually arrested some of them on occasion. Good times I guess....
Anyhow, I now have an Ultra Limited in vivid black with true duals, Rush slip ons, an SE breather and PCIV, that I bought on my 42nd birthday in March. I just turned 10K miles (I ride it A LOT) and am upgrading to Michelin Commander II tires, Progressive cartridges in the forks and the Progressive 444 shocks out back. Picking the bike up today and hoping that the sun comes out to warm things up a little.
Having a Harley has been a life-long dream and I am excited to ride, ride, ride....
