Don't worry about not riding long, I've been riding 20 years,sports bikes,trailies etc and nothing compares to how much I love owning my 2006 dyna street bob and my dreams of customising it. Save up, don't buy anything else just because it's cheaper. Nothing else on the market gives you the chance to buy a high mileage classic and make it look just the same as today's model by buying bits to bolt on it or change. My mates have v rods,road kings or fatboys. I couldn't afford those and bought a street bob but definitely don't feel I ve missed out. They are very easy to ride and short of the Electra glide have a very low centre of gravity. Good Luck

Hey BandEm... welcome and thanks for your service. Regarding the Street Bob, that's a great place to start. Those are great bikes and one of the nicest looking bikes HD makes IMHO. If you plan on riding mostly day trips it will be perfect.
