New from Mississippi

Hello everyone,

I'm definitaly a newbie because I don't even have a Harley yet. But I figured this is a good start and with the experience here I can get pointed in the right direction.

I'm deployed overseas at the moment and would like to buy a Harley while here and have it waiting on me when I get home next month. I'm looking at a Street Bob and was wondering if that is a good starting point? I have a couple years experience riding sport bikes and have been through the advanced riders classes but have never ridden anything like a Harley.

Your opinions and guidance is appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forum and soon welcome home bub. This is a great place for just about any questions you might have. As for bike opinions your gonna get alot of different ones. Been riding for a while so you'd be good on a bigger bike no problem. Just depends on your riding plans. Want something to look bad ass and go fast and make some noise then pretty much skys the limit. Want something to look bad ass go fast make some noise but want alot of comfort for trips then look into the touring bikes. My first Harley is my Electraglide and I couldn't be happier. So good luck and enjoy the ride...
