I lived a few years up thar in Grand Rapids & Kalamazoo , but I was younger back then & didn't know no better . Just to dang much snow for me . You can almost ride year round down here in the South ! Highly Recommended !

I lived in La., in the early 70's at Ft.Polk while in the army. Some better weather in the spring and winter, but up here the summer is way nicer, that being June, July, August and September. A lot less bugs here too, those roaches are plentiful and huge down there. Up here there's few to none, just some small wood roaches. No chiggers or scorpions or poisonous snakes up here either, but plenty of deer.
