New Member from New Mexico
Hello from New Mexico. I'm from the western side of NM off I-40 very close to the NM/AZ border. But don't let that fool you. Our area has been listed as one of the coldest spots in the Nation, consistantly in the top 5. And one of the windiest and longest windiest stretches of highway in the southwestern United States that goes from the west coast to the east coast pretty much. Gallup, NM has its scenery and sometimes excellent biking weather in 4 directions. I can be in NM, CO, or AZ from 15min, to a couple of hours. And this same stretch of hwy can be some of the most treacherous with all the semi's and winter weather. My current ride is a 1998 Roadking and my first fuel injevtion bike. Prior to this I had a '76 Shovelhead Electra-glide with a kick/electric starting system, that I miss. Yes, I grew up kicking the old bikes over and hanging out with guys who were true wrenchers. My other interests revolve around shooting, nhunting, and old Mopars
