I am [obviously] a new member here, so here’s the short version. I’ve been on two wheels for almost twenty years. I met my wife when I rode my bike from Seattle to Denver in 1999; Denver has been home now since late 2000. I bought my first Harley through the military overseas purchase program while mobilized in 2002 – a 2002 Road King Classic. My wife lost interest in riding for a while until we attended this year’s Colorado HOG rally. We rode about 650 miles that weekend. When we got home, she proclaimed that she liked riding again but the Road King wasn’t big enough – she wanted music, a more comfortable seat/backrest, and more storage. The next week I traded the Road King for an ’08 Ultra Classic. Now I almost have to start over with chrome and other accessories.
