New Member from South Florida
Hi All,
I'm new to the community but have been riding for about 40 years off and on. Started in my teens (maybe about 16 or so?) in Iowa with a Kawasaki. In my 20's I bought a used Des Moines police bike, a Moto Guzzi 750 Ambassador that I rode for years and eventually I bought another Moto Guzzi 850 ElDorado that I rode all over the midwest. Probably logged over 100K miles on the two Guzzis. Quit riding after a serious fall off a roof in my mid-30's. Sold the two Guzzis and considered my riding days over. Moved to S. Florida 15 years ago and a few years ago, when gas went over $4/gallon, decided to give motorcycles another shot. Have owned and sold two BMW's and a Victory over the past 4 years (much to my wife's dismay) trying to find the right bike for me. A couple of months ago I bought an "08 Street Glide. I think I've found it.
