Hey. I'm a new rider and a new (to me anyway) Harley owner. I headed down to Maryville, TN last week from the cooler confines of the Detroit area, and took the MSF BRC at Smoky Mountain H-D. Got back home and the search for my new ride was in full force.
Rode home yesterday from Motor City H-D in Farmington Hills on a 2003 FXD Super Glide! I am impressed with the handling, the comfort, and since it was a pre-owned bike, the fact that the prior owner had already done the stage one to it as well as changed the pipes to staggered shorty duals.
This is my first bike, and at 50 years old, everyone is telling me I am going through a mid-life crisis. I disagree. I say I'm finally waking up from my life-long slumber and getting ready to have some fun!
Looking forward to learning from you all on this site.
Location: On a good clear day, I can ALMOST see "Normal" from here!
Welcome from SC!
To the new Super Glide!

"This is my Bike. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My Bike is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My Bike, without me, is useless. Without my Bike, I am useless."
