YESTERDAY ON "ABC-TV" (BETTER KNOWN AS THE ALL BARRACK CHANNEL) DURING THE "NETWORK SPECIAL ON HEALTH CARE".... OBAMA WAS ASKED:

"MR. PRESIDENT WILL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GIVE UP YOUR CURRENT HEALTH CARE PROGRAM AND JOIN THE NEW 'UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM' THAT THE REST OF US WILL BE ON ????"..... (BET YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER)...

THERE WAS A STONEY SILENCE AS OBAMA IGNORED THE QUESTION AND CHOSE NOT TO ANSWER IT !!!...

IN ADDITION, A NUMBER OF SENATORS WERE ASKED T HE SAME QUESTION AND THERE RESPONSE WAS..."WE WILL THINK ABOUT IT.."

AND THEY DID. IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY ON THE NEWS THAT THE "KENNEDY HEALTH CARE BILL" WAS WRITTEN INTO THE NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM INITIATIVE ENSURING THAT CONGRESS WILL BE 100% EXEMPT !

SO, THIS GREAT NEW HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU AND ME.. IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA, HIS FAMILY OR CONGRESS...?? WE (THE AMERICAN PUBLIC) NEED TO STOP THIS PROPOSED DEBACLE ASAP !!!!... THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG !!!!!

PERSONALLY, I CAN ONLY ACCEPT A UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE OVERHAUL THAT EXTENDS TO EVERYONE... NOT JUST US LOWLY CITIZENS... WHILE THE WASHINGTON "ELITE" KEEP RIGHT ON WITH THEIR GOLD-PLATED HEALTH CARE COVERAGES.

I'm not American, but follow American politics closely. I agree with you... if it's good for all, than it should be good for all (including the Washington elite). It's a great test to see if they are willing to accept what is being proposed to the American public. Are the politicians also willing to participate in what is proposed for 'ordinary' citizens? In this case, the responses and the exemption for Congress should be a clear answer to all Americans. I believe your Health Care system needs to be reformed (so does ours in Canada for sustainability - but it's not as bad as what the American news reports - I actually think it's pretty good), and that all citizens should have access to health care. I just don't think the current plan being proposed to Americans is what is best for the people. Hopefully, people will educate themselves and hold the politicians who represent them accountable for making decisions that are in the peoples' best interests.

All the polititions give a damn about is money an power. Until we stand up an vote every single one of them out, even the ones we think are good, they won't pay us any attention. Their arragance is growing stronger every day, because they don't fear the voter any more. The balls in our court,,what we gonna do with it?
