You have no Health Insurance and you are sick ?

According to a report on Sky News today, Americans with no health insurance are increasingly calling the Fire Service because they have paramedics and provide a free service.

Here in Luxembourg the Fire Service turns out for free to take away wasps' nests.

Other examples of services doing something you might not expect ?

I dont have health insurance and I go to the University of Louisville Hospital.

I thought in America that if you got sick with no health insurance, you just died.

Have no insurance due to being laid off and could not get cobra, I just lay around until better.Just hopeing nothing bad happens. Could go to Veterans hospital in emergency I guess.

In the USA: You go to the Hospital ER.

I don't believe it's legal for a hospital to turn away a person who's suffering from a serious health issue, and if so, would be against a Physician's code of ethics.
