Wow, Nascar screws up 'Daga
Congrats to McMurray, Thank God for Ryan Newman and Mark Martin okay after being on their roofs.
But after all that, NASCAR takes the most exciting track on Nascar and turns it into single file boring crap.

I give Mark Martin a lot of credit at being 51 and battling with a bunch of 20-something old other drivers..........

Nascar has taken most of the tracks and turned them into taxi cab follow the leader. Which is too bad. At one time you could see some great racing.

Like Newman said, NASCAR used to trust drivers like Allison(s), and King Richard to race each other. Obviously they don't think much of the current crop of drivers. Lame, lame, lame.

Yep and Martin was racing hard when he flipped. He's currently second in the standings. Not bad for a guy that just wanted to race a few times this year so he could end his career with a win. I met him a couple years ago at Pocono. He's just a little guy.

So who started that crash today??? Was it Stewart?? Newman?? Ambrose??? I couldn't tell... Nascar needs to get rid of the restrictor plates & let these guys race..All ya get nowdays is 495 miles of procession & 2 laps of who's got the biggest balls. or the most friends or the best luck..
I dont like Jimmy Johnson, but I hate Jeff Gordon!!!
Kudos to Mark for hanging with the kids & I hope my boy Marcos Ambrose can get the oval track gig together & win one one day.

I miss the old days of racing stock cars. There nothing like the cars from the factory today. The charger is the only one with rear wheel drive like the race car. We need to see "rubbing is racing" and fights in the in field. I think we should pull some of the old cars out of the museums and some of the old drivers out of retirement. I'd give anything to see Richard Petty and DW out there rubbing doors!

Nascar is afraid of a fan gittin hurt and being sued. last year when Carl Edwards got into the fence, 4 fans were hurt. Back in the early 90s Bill Elliot went 212 mph at Taladega, could you just imagine how fast they could go now. They need to go back to the old days, Run whut you bring.
