They need to leave this one alone. The Don't ask don't tell seems to work pretty well. There are gays in the military, and under the don't ask don't tell system they still seem to be able to function with minimal negative impact on mission or other wise. If it is too much for them, then simply don't re-enlist. If you open that door to let openly gay people in you are now allowing the flamboyant gays in as well and i think that is where the problem begins. I'll admit, i am a little uncomfortable with the idea of being in a gang shower with some guy who I suspect is gay, but its no worse than being around some of the crazy ass guys I have known. Probably safer. Wait till they get a guy who dresses like a woman in civilian clothes. What are they going to do with that? The only time that should happen is on Halloween or on a bad soju night.

Big ass ball of wax , Will there be need now for gay male and gay female heads(latrines)? The polls show that a majority people dont give a #### But thats not a poll of Military personel. Wonder if a civilian poll taker would think twice about walking into a shower if he/she just saw three Homoseexers walk in first. He might wanta just stay out and let em have their moment. Maybe take a shower tomorow.
Lotsa whatif? But I dont think Obamba or Congress worry about details.

well, they can't buy harleys, so they shouldn't be allowed in the military.
