Son Of A B#@##$%

I've never had this happen to me but it looks as if some lowlife scum took a Fed Ex delivery from my porch this morning Thank God it wasn't too terribly expensive. I had ordered a weather station set up from Buy.com (was $120 marked down to $35) and thought it would make a cool Christmas gift for my Bro-In-Law so I ordered a second one. Followed the tracking to delivery today. Came home and nothing was there so I looked online and they show both deliveries as being left at the front door at 10:23 this morning. My oldest daughter was home from school at 10 and was here until 11. Nothing...I'm so pissed I could spit. I contacted Fed Ex and they are doing whatever it is they do to trace the items but....
At least it wasn't something for the bike...or a chicken with boobs and a bottle of Jack
Thanks for letting me vent!

Not sure if things are any different now but if they don't have a "Signature Release Form" that you have signed authorizing them to leave things without a signature, FedEx is liable for the loss. It's a perk when they leave packages when you are not home...but they take a chance when things like this happens!

Lady I had the chat with said to give it 3 days and then contact the vendor??? I'm gonna be contacting Fed Ex if I don't see anything in 3 days. I have a claim # and the tracking info says signature not required for delivery.
Hoping it was left at the same street # on the wrong street but....

Ha old lady ordered wedding rings on the internet years ago they never came and
she was all up in the air for a week about tracking it and such. Agent said it was delivered. to front door (which we dont actually use at all) carport door is closer and used all the time. I thought about it and thought about it for a couple days myself. Then I went an opened the screen door to the "front door" and the package was there. Too late for my shotgun wedding though. (But I still had to get married anyway.) (Wife too smart, borrowed rings)
