Caught A TROLL (True Story) - Harley Davidson Forums: Harley Davidson Motorcycle Forum

My sister owns an up scale lounge in Baton Rouge LA, and one of her customers tells this story a couple of nights ago.

A friend of his has a 30 something year old son who has down syndrome and lives with his mother. She leaves him home alone while she works and has never had any problems before now. This particular day he calls his mom at work all excited saying "Mom I caught a Troll, I caught a Troll". She blows him off saying that is great now let me get back to work. He calls back 30 minutes later again saying he caught a Troll and she blows him off again. This goes on several times until she finally tells her boss that she has to go home and check on her son. As she approaches her home she sees a meter reader truck in the drive way with the door open. She parks in the driveway and hears the engine running on the meter truck and the door open. As she heads for the front door of the house her son comes running out yelling I caught a Troll and she can hear someone yelling inside the house. She gets inside and there is someone beating on the coat closet door inside the house. She opens the door and finds a MIDGET tied up. He was reading meters for the power company and as he walked by the window the boy with down syndrome saw him. Thinking he was a troll he ran out and tackled him, tied him up and stuck him in the closet. The meter reader was very upset about begin locked in a closet for four hours.
