The Joe Mama Forum
Everyone,
We have a new place in this Off Topic forum for subjects that are more contentious, emotional, sensitive, etc. Where opinions can be strong, and arguments equally so.
Venture into the Joe Mama forum at your own risk. You have been warned.
It isn't a place for the easily offended, or for those who can't take some heat in the kitchen.
It won't be actively patrolled, but hey, try to keep things in check OK, and have fun.

You'd be surprized at how some people get their panties in a wad over politics, religion or issues like gays.
You should see it when someone brings up Gay, religious politicians....
Having a place to go to discuss such matters, void of moderators, but self governed allows for people to say what's on their mind, be pissed off, but not have it bleed into the regular forums, where some people like myself, check on at work some days. Language and certain topics get flagged by our IT people and I'd rather know where the stuff is and be able to avoid it.
It depends on who's there posting and how everyone conducts themselves....
WERA's "Dungeon" section has been alive and thriving for years and everyone is relatively an adult over matters.
It can be a bad place though........

My daughter graduated from a liberal college last year. these many years she has been laughing about all of the Bush bashing. thinking it's amusing. well i believe we live in the Usa and we all have the right to our opinions and verbalize them as we see fit. no harm no foul. just opinions (as miguided as they may be)
Yesterday i sent her an amusing anecdote on Obama and the TRILLIONS OF DEBT SHE WILL INHERIT!
the reply was "please do not include me in your Obama bashing, it does not amuse me!"
Sunday dinner is gonna be great!
