So if you get banned is it a certain amount of time or life? Do we get a warning?

It depends on the infraction which is discretionary, really, but what you have been seeing lately is one person who changes screennames and comes back repeatedly with really no other agenda other than to troll the boards and puerally attack members who don't agree their views. Unfortunately, they're tough to catch until it's too late.
