1980 Shovelhead Oil Filter suggestions and opinions?

I have a 1980 FLT Shovel and the OEM oil filter is HARLEY-DAVIDSON 63796-77. I run Straight 60W all the time.

Of course I want the best possible oil filter to protect and keep the engine lasting.
I'm considering the HARLEY-DAVIDSON 63731-99 because of the 5 micron filtration.

I'm also considering the magnetic type filter, K&N, Drag Specialties, etc...

Basically, I would like to hear opinions and realities of which oil filter will be best for the engine and making it last.

So here is a list of alternative oil filters for my 1980 Shovel:
HARLEY-DAVIDSO 63796-77 - Alternative oil filters

I appreciate any advice.

the one that meets OEM specs and gets changed at regular service intervals.

63731-99
Fits '17-later Milwaukee-Eight, '99-later Twin Cam and Evolution models (except '08-'13 XR) and can be used as an upgrade for any motorcycle that requires Oil Filter P/N 63796-77A, 63805-80A, 63812-90 or 63813-90.

IMO the OEM Shovel spin on oil filters didn't even have a micron rating. Micron rating is new school introduced with the EFI engines beginning in the 1995 model year.

AMSOIL EaOM135 or EaOM135C (chrome) for the best filtration, synthetic nanofiber rated 20 microns absolute per ISO 4548-12:
