Anybody checked out this reusable oil filter made by Pure Power ? I talked to the engineer on the phone yesterday that developed it....It's flow rate and filtering capabilities are amazing , also reduction in oil drag through the filter which lowers oil temperatures and from dyno tests raises horsepower....The initial cost is kinda high but you never buy another filter....machined billet aluminum case with a stainless steel filter unit that washes out.....

I read somewhere yesterday that it was 5 microns, but who knows, I am going to call the engineer aka developer of the company and ask him....I like the fact it keeps all loose metal particles out of the system with the internal magnets in the filter and as it flows 22 gpm versus the HD filter at 7-9 gpm, oil temp. will be less too...

Me to sound to good to be true.thanks for researchin this as you know you can only run certian micron filter on certian bikes.Im down for lowerin any tempI can.

I'm always a little sceptical about something new that comes out like this, mostly because of my own inexperience, plus there have been a lot of scams out there over the yrs. I'll be interested in seeing what you guy's feel about this.

I was told about this filter by a guy that does mobile Harley repair...then have talked to several guys who run them...The only bitch they had was the initial cost..now they swear by them and all of them say the same thing..My bike runs cooler now...that is what I want..not really concerned about any HP gain..less heat mean more life in motor...
