Oh crap, I hate it when this happens.

Changed out the cam in my EVO RoadKing on Thursday/Friday nights. I didn't get a chance to ride it until Sunday. So, I take it out and everything seems good, good power, runs well. When I get home I see i have an oil leak from the rear exhaust pushrod tube, so I fix that (retainer was against the head, not the tube and as I'm clening up the oil, I see a plastic washer thing on the ground under the bike. Crap, the breather spacer fell out during assembly.

Now I get to take the whole thing back apart again. Maybe I should put the S&S reed valve breather in while I have it apart AGAIN.

Anybody running one of these?

I hate when crap like that happens..... Personally, I'm content with the stock breather. Never had issues and I've read about some negatives regarding the S&S unit. Can't say for sure, as I never used one.

How do you like the cam? Does it pull good? Noticable difference?

I ordered mine thursday, and I'm waiting for it....

Dave, the cam is very "seat of the pants dyno" noticeable. First gear is almost silly how fast I hit the rev limiter. I have to change out the ignition module and raise the limiter up a few hundred. It does make the bike more fun to ride.

Hope I can get this fixed this week, I'm leaving for Finland on Thursday for a couple weeks and when I get back it'll be getting dark real early, so not much time to work on it after work.
